This process involves five steps
STEP 1 – LEARN ABOUT ST. LUCIA, THE COUNTRY WHERE YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER
Start by researching about St. Lucia. You can learn about St. Lucia on our website, send us an email with questions at: info@projectsofheart.org, or simply by clicking this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Lucia
STEP 2 – CHOOSE YOUR PROJECT AND COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
Research about our Projects and Prices and select your project including starting date and length
Once you have chosen your project and commencement date, please complete our online application form and send it to us via email to: volunteer@projectsofheart.org. We will respond to you within 72 hours of receipt of your application, with information about the availability of your chosen project and dates.
STEP 3 – MAKE ONLINE DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR PROJECT AND COMMENCEMENT DATE
Upon receipt of our confirmation email for your chosen project and commencement date, Please make the online payment of a deposit of $250.00 USD to secure your project and date. Payment of the remaining balance for your project should be made not later than 3 weeks (21 days) prior to your arrival date.
STEP 4 – START PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP
Pay the balance of your project cost and start preparing for your trip. Preparation for a trip to St. Lucia is as simple as booking a flight and flying from New York City to Colorado or California. You can book your flight online. Our destination countries are tropical countries therefore all you need to carry with you is a couple of summer clothes. Once you have booked your flight, please send us a confirmation email to: flight@projectsofheart.org

STEP 5 – FLY TO ST. LUCIA NOW
Don’t wait any longer. Go onboard your flight to St. Lucia. Our local staff will be waiting for you at the airport with Projects of Heart sign. They will help you get settled at your host family home. An Orientation will be given to you about your project and other relevant information same day of your arrival or the next morning.
Cancellation policy: Cancellation of your reservation within 3 days of payment of deposit will be subject to a full refund. Cancellation of the trip after full payment has been made will be subject to:
80% refund if cancellation is made at least 10 days prior to your arrival date.
50% refund if cancellation is made less than 10 days prior to your arrival date
